These heavy hex bolts are TRUE TITANIUM(TM), specifically Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V). Grade 5 titanium is a common aerospace alloy that has been used in commercial aircraft for decades. The bolts have a built in washer under the head which spreads the bearing surface safely with a chamfered edge. With a minimum yield strength of 128,000 psi (880 Mpa), they are designed for structural applications in race cars, boats, big rigs, engines, motorcycles, etc. If you are looking for high strength, or lightweight, or zero rust, these heavy hex bolts will work perfectly.
