Titanium M12-1.75 Pitch Allied Titanium Hex Flange Nut
  A flange nut is a type of nut that has a wide flange on the bottom that acts as built in washer. This serves to distribute the pressure to a larger bearing surface of the nut over the part being secured, reducing the chance of damage to the part.

These flange nuts are Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) titanium and are TRUE TITANIUM(TM). They are about 3 and a half times stronger than stainless steel, 44% lighter and completely corrosion free, even in saltwater. These , aerospace grade nuts have a minimum yield strength of 128,000 psi (880 Mpa). If you are a race car driver, these are the flange nuts you want holding your car together.
